Question Heat Shield

Does anyone know where i can get a heat shield for my Intake.
Im looking for one just like the RMR, or something similar that i could just cut a hole in, to hook up the existing air duct.

I want to just get a Ebay intake kit with a K&N filter, but i want the heat shield also
so if someone knows where i can get one that'd be sweet. thanks

well Injen intakes also come with one. However id just suggest finding pictures and cutting one out of some sheet metal, you can buy it at alot of hardware stores.

Yeah, if you work well with metal bend your own shield. I love my RMR intake and shield BTW...

Or, if you just want a cooler intake air temp, spend $4 on dryer ducting at Home Depot and some wire and vent the air from the front of the car to the SRI. It'll drop your temp by 30-40 deg plus it's cheaper and easier to make than a heat shield. If you move some stuff (turn your battery) you can duct it almost directly under the fliter so it'll rarely be seen, or just let it vent from the side. Search for "ram air" for more info.

Hood duct should do good. Just make sure you place it safely so rain doesn't soak your filter.
