RPW has offered the same deal to Accolade which was offered to other parties, purchase in bulk and the price drops. Accolade are looking to pre purchase a number of camshafts which reduces freight costs etc.
We would love to be able to do this all the time but its a matter of economics unfortunatly.
RPW Stage 1 camshafts are proven in the USA market with many people having them. Remember there is also an Auto and Manuel Model Stage 1 camshaft which was researched many times due to the Auto's being suspectable to idling issues.
This means that any generic cam that is being marketed for both manuel and auto models, is a very small profile to enable the auto's to idle properly. The RPW Stage 1 Manuel model camshaft is definitly larger and won't run in an Auto, but has been proven many times to produce maximun power for them.
Also we would definitly like to state, due to the larger profiles that RPW utilises for our stage 1 camsahfts etc, they ARE NOT COMPATIBLE WITH FORCED INDUCTION. Use of any of our naturally aspirated camshafts would not be beneficial with any forced induction. If you want a turbo camshaft, get a proper one which has the right duration / lift / valve overlap.
Anyway good one for Accolade to bite the bullet on this one. IF anyone has any questions feel free to ask me at any time.

The RPW cam is PROVEN PERFORMANCE and there is NO competition when it comes to R&D for the MOST POWER for your application. These cams have been available for over 3 years in all the grinds. Save $10 and get a proven winner. What's to think about?
Mitsiman's post says it all, really.
Do you like that? See how I used another company's posting methods there to pimp RPW? It's all true, though

On a softer sales note there are a myriad of camshaft profiles out there which can be used on the vehicles.
RPW has done our own R&D to work out the profiles we like. That is not to say that there are not other profiles which coudl provide similiar results. Simply that we were fortunate to evolve from the mirages to the lancers with the 4G9 engine and have had the opportunity to do our research progressivly.
Unfortunatly reality is that many people who fit our products, do not bother to dyno there vehicle. Some do and some don't, and even those that do we have seen some very weird dyno reports.
At the end of the day if you ask around you will see many people have been using our camshafts for years, not just recently and I beleive that stands out the most about our product range.
