with the rpw header i seem to have lost a lot of torque in comparison with stock, but i get a surge of power from 4500 to redline. that's with the cat, stock midpipe, and rrm axel-back. i think you'd lose a bit more low end than me but make up for it at 4500.

I've got the RMR intake, RPW header, 2nd cat, RMR axleback, and I don't feel any significant loss in torque. I also feel that power surge around the 4500 rpm range.

Only difference between me and rhyzin is the intake and that makes sense for the low end loss, or the lack of in my situation.

That's the limit of the car that you're hitting.
We only have 120 hp compared to the 160 of the SI (at the crank). Granted, that's at 5500 for the Lancer compared to 6500 rpm for the SI, but once the SI gets up around 3rd gear, it's pretty much over. We can hang in there early cuz we've got similar torque numbers (130@4250 to 132@5000), but again once that VTEC manages to get going, that's that.
