lancer/caliber same k and n intake??

dooooooooooooooood. the 1.8 and 2.4l caliber engine's throttle body intakes are about 4 inches from the very bottom of the engine. the lancers' are on the top!
neither the CAI nor the filter will fit the lancer properly.
unless I am missing some vital part of this conversation...
the lancer air filter is what fram calls an "air panel," and looks like this-
the cali's looks like this-
i have not seen the 2.0L caliber engine, though. I heard there was one, but I have never seen a caliber with one.

Ok, im freakin confused, half of you are talking about replacement filters for the STOCK intake, where as this guy is asking about the compatibility of a whole new INTAKE, not a filter. Atleast thats what im getting from it, specially considering he linked a performance intake from K&N.
