god damn man you were right and that really bums me out. i thought it was cali only not upstate new york also. now im scared to get the piggy or the intake cause of a CEL. and now that explains why my car is such a p&^sy and should have an extra 10 hp. does anyone know the exact differences between them and what can be done to rid the car of this. i will probably be getting the header and maybe the injen exhaust with the high flow cat but what about any other components. ive heard the piggy and intake don't seem to work as good on the pzev models.

someone with a pzev should step up to see the gains on that and if its gonna pull a cel. maybe throw a intake and piggy on there and dyno tune the piggy for max hp. if you sold a v2 intake, header, exhaust and a pretuned pzev piggy combo that was tuned for those mods exactly and had no check engine lights then ill tell you right now you have a buyer. even throw another nice name on there like you guys did with the bars and take 100 off the package deal or something.

Id actually like to see what kind of gains a fed spec would get as well, although Im sure it wont be as much(if any???) as the PZEV model since they delete a cat.

PZEV is in place in Cali and we don't have issues with CEL etc... I am not worried too much about it.

Pzev originated in cali thats why when you have a pzev car on the window sticker it says california emmisions standard not "pzev"

I spoke with my dealer today and they said all new jersey is obligated by mitsu to sell pzev engine. And They said its not a big deal at all they told me only difference is the additional cat thats all.

Then you must have a different piggy cause i removed my piggy and the code from the intake went away.

So thats my explanation for my problem and i wasn't the only one either.
