must be some good pipe for almost 300 bucks. what about if you have a pzev with no resonator and get headers. then all you have is pipe and a cat, i dont picture that sounding too great.

A lot of old school muscle used to have exhaust set ups like this, before emissions and CARB got involved.

I think 94dB is the highest no matter where you go. Considering a jet engine is about 140 dB, 90 - 94 for a car is farkin LOUD

You'll have to wait at least one more day. We got postponed yesterday due to some rain and we're a couple guys short today. I'll capture the video tomorrow during a break and get things online shortly thereafter.

I can assure everyone that it doesn't sound like a Harley, isn't "ricey" or anything bad. It has a nice rumble at idle that's not much louder than stock, but definitely a different tone. Even at full throttle bouncing off the rev-limiter doesn't get obnoxious

The PZEV uses a pre-cat and a cat and all others use a cat and a resonator. Both essentially sound the same. As can be seen in our other Exhale components, we typically keep a resonator in the intermediate pipe to ensure tonal volume/quality remain in check.

Thanks for your patience and stay tuned!

Holy crap. I never thought it'd be a muffler-free system! I'll be very interested in the videos of the sound now.

PS - this explains a lot about how they made HP with this setup!

How do you think this would sound combined with the RRM headers in development now? Just crossed my mind, I know there aren't going to be real answers yet, just hoping for some speculation.
