did you keep yours on? I am just wondering if it fits, or does the filter get in the way?

I put mine back on. The only problem is that it is only secured by the two screws at the front. I would like to have it a bit more stable, but with the hood down it seems to be OK for now

Zip tie it to the battery hold-down. Works perfect, and 100% removeable if need be.
