here is the only problem I see with it. It seems to be great in the lower United states, but my experience with mild steel before is that it will rust itself to death in the 2nd year of its life. Good chance you couldnt even remove the bolt. They gotta upgrade the steel. Or it will never survive a canadian winter. coating or not coating. I guesm if it starts rusting you could call them up on their warranty. But I would be very careful with this one. I welcome it cause I like competition. But I remember experiences all to well. anything that says mild steel and you live in a real winter zone could be trouble.

lol well market forces aka capitalism, means more competition translates into lower prices.

I am wondering if AEM / DCSport is going to make a splash anytime soon with a header or exhaust

Ya know, in my experience, prices tend to reflect quality. I'd much rather know the product I was getting was worth the money I'm investing on it...

And this whole 'made in China' thing has people all...I dunno weirded out.

Does anyone have em on yet?!?!?!?! i would totally buy the headers if they're good. I know they're ceramic but those are fine. They last great in texas. Is it a 2 piece?! lol

lol come on people 99% of the stuff you buy is made in china, your IPhone, your IPOD, toys your buy. XBOX, nothing wrong with chinese quality. Its not the best, but its decent on average. Its how the USA got into this trap in the first place. Companies evaluate the pitfalls then decide its better to make their goods there vs. here.

This is why I wish Huckabee was gonna win the Republican nominiation, cause at least then, I know if they one again, that at least they would reform the tax system and switch to a fair tax system. Which is the best for factors in the USA. with no income taxes, companies are more likely to build within the USA.

Getting back on topic. the only bad thing about this is if its really just made with mild steel. that wouldnt last one winter in canada

spoke with pacesetter exhaust and they said they dont have a header for the 08 lancer, nore anything in development.

contact
Eric at pacesetterexhaust

sorry to burst everyones bubble dreaming of a cheaper header, but it looks like RRM is still the only game in town. And to be honest, a header at 400 dollars is a pretty good deal when you think about it.

Cheers
