I am sure it is a re-label.... Many places do Private Labeling, I know AMSOIL does...

I have had a good chuckle a few times when someone has told me about their "Oil of Choice" and how much better it is even though it was more expensive... What was it that P.T. Barnum said ??? LOL

So when changing from conventional oil to synthetic, should I worry about oil leaks when using conventional oil for an extended time (say 2 years)? Or would there be less chance for oil leakage if I were to use syn. oil earlier to "condition" the seals with syn. oil as opposed to driving with conventional oil for 20K miles then switching over.

i'm only asking because I get free oil changes for two years and I dont' think I can have them put in syn. oil but I want to run syn. oil asap.

and not to be rude, but please give me an Unbiased opinion...I've used syn. oil in the past but experienced an oil leak due to the switch.
Thanks!

Unbiased question: how can you prove it was the synthetic oil's fault?

Synthetic oil did not cause the leak... Synthetic oil cleaned out the passage way that was clogged by the paraffin and sludge buildup from conventional oil.

I have also seen Many times where after Synthetic (AMSOIL) was used in a leaker, that for a short period of time, the leak got a little worse as it was cleaned, but then the extra Seal Swelling and Softening agents used did there job and either the leak totally stopped or became less than it was originally..

I have used MOTUL and love it. I do plan on trying some AMSOIL though. I am a huge off-road racing fan. CORR and SCORE racing, these guys run AMSOIL on motors that cost well over 50k.

Mobile 1

I've tried Castrol, Valvoline and Penzoil Full Synthetic and can honestly say Mobile 1 FS performed better for me. I get consistant smooth performance until I change the oil again. The other synthetics I used just seem to degrate and under perform before the recommended oil changes. I use to have a 97 mirage that would rattle when I was on the highway. With Mobile 1 FS I noticed the rattle from my dash was gone, thus the motor was running smoother. Now I use Mobile 1 Extended Performance, 15K miles or one year between oil changes. I personally go 5-6 months or 6-7000 miles. I get it at WalMart, 5 quart container for 25.99. Great Deal!!!

And the M1 Should work better,..... Castrol and Valvoline are Hydro-Cracked Products and not a PAO or Ester base.... Pennzoil.... well... enough sais there too.... LOL

doc i was under the impression before that synthetic was more for turbo'd cars supercharged more of a race type oil,so is it good to use for the reg ol 4b11 non turbo in the 08 gts as opposed to regular oil?
