Magnaflow Catback SS Exhaust - Now Available

Sorry for the delay in this, but with temp's hovering in the -20c to -35c mark for a few weeks now, it was just too cold. With the weather finally warming up today though, I had a chance to take a couple clips. Both are closeups of the exhaust from behind. One of the car idling, and one with it revving to about 5000RPM.

nice i find it hard to believe that that was 5k rpm judging by how light you were on the throttle sounds like they were around 3kish... you must have a CVT 6.5k revs ftw

Bolt on?
Feedback:
Just arrived back from getting the Magnaflow catback exhaust installed in Okotoks. I was really happy that this install didn't take too long. It was a complete and easy bolt-on process, so for an experienced mechanical shop (Miller Automotive), it took them less than 1 hour to take out the old axleback exhaust, install the new catback system and the rear RRM anti-sway bar kit and have me on my merry way. My mechanic was very impressed how everything lined up perfectly, and with the whole install there wasn't any glitches to it.
...
Two, the installation factor. I love bolt-on products. It makes it simple and easy for the newbie or for someone who may not spend his free time wrenching under the hood of their vehicle. This catback system lined up exactly as it should and caused no headaches or grief whatsoever. The only thing to be careful about would be where you would cut the stock piping when taking out the stock exhaust.
This mod was definitely worth the money ($500 +) and added the most value IMO. Anyone who is looking to do a complete exhaust system and isn't worried about dollars and cents, I'd highly recommend it.

Totally bolt on? No welding anything? Why even bring it to a shop? Karan, did yours fit as easily? And do you run PZEV or Fed spec? I really like this baby, and I want to make sure it will be easy enough for me to do myself.

He brought it to a shop because there is *one* spot that needs cut on the stock exhaust, but I'm not sure if the Magnaflow is bolted/clamped into to the cut, or welded. That is right after the cat on the stock exhaust I believe. So I guess it's 90% totally bolt on if you want to get technical.

1) It's totally bolt-on. But, the mechanic offerred to have me bring it back in afterwards to do a spot weld on it if I want to in the future. ( I think it's only if I find a leak, otherwise I'm good to go )
2) I didn't have anywhere to do it myself, nor the tools or the previous experience. I'd rather get someone that's done before to do the installation and no screw it up. If you do have some experience doing this type of thing, then I can't see it being too much of an issue.
3) Our headers are FED's, I believe. Mine's the RRM version.
One thing that I found kinda funny was that my friend the machanic mentioned how the RRM header, the stock cat pipe and the RRM axleback didn't fit anywhere near as good together as the original factory Lancer exhaust system or the Magnaflow catback. Wasn't even close. Kinda makes you wonder about the quality control of the RRM product.

Ok, so as far as what someone mentioned about them cutting the exhaust in one spot, thats not true???? Its just straight bolt on? If its just bolt on, I will definitely get this system, I have nothing done to my 09 GTS at this point, but this sounds perfect, nice purr when you want it.

There is ONE cut to be done. You need to cut the stock pipe close to the cat. It's easy to be done, just need to have the right tools, know exactly where to cut and to take your time doing it.
