Rrm V2 Sri Rocks!

Is there a dyno sheet just with the V2 intake along? I just want to justify the money i will be spending...although i guess you can't really measure the improvement of throttle response.

No but I am sure whatever Competitors claim, we are making too. AEM CAI claims 5 h.p. I think they like SRIs better than the CAIs. You end up with a better powerband and response with SRI. That is what we have seen and that is what some customers have reported. They have had both CAI and SRIs to compare.

The header thing happened on early edition of the header. Components used to make it have been changed to longer, stronger ones. IT is not an issue anymore. Anyways, anyone with a problem waas treated fairly including Nosman. Lets move on the product has been resolved. Don't start a panic. Only 4-5 out of 300+ of them did that by the way.

Just a thought for some who get the v2.
I noticed that the shield wasn't a great fit, bolts were hard to tighten due to being in tight spots. It needed to be bent in places so it wasn't rubbing on other pieces of the engine compartment and it definitely required some massaging to get it decently installed.
After a day I decided the shield wasn't worth the trouble and chucked it. Sounds better now anyways.
Am I satisfied with it? Yeah, for now. It definitely makes a big difference, but a CAI might be a future experiment for me.

A little massage sounds fine. Heatshield is fine though. It was your preference to remove the heat sheild. Wait till you get your AEM CAI, you will love having to solder longer wires on and such to connect the MAS sensor. AEM really made a unit that requires a ton of MASSAGE! Anyone with AEM CAI should chime in. IT really is a pain in the A$$. We hate intstalling the AEM unit and it is really not worth the extra WORK and MONEY.

No one has had an issue with our intake. We both have opinion, that is cool. We have had experience with both intakes though so people need to know the trade offs. That is it. Nothing is absolute, just trade offs.
