Sup guys Im bout to change the engine oil on my wifes GTS. I was just wondering how many quarts does the GTS needs... Thanks..

 

look in your owners manual, in the last couple pages

I usually end up putting 4.5 qts in it.

 

Yeah I'll probably do dat. Imma go with Royal Purple and a K&N filter... Thats what I used on my Charger...

 

Read some of the prior reviews about different oils, and Royal Purple was not rated very well at all!! Go with Amsoil or Mobil 1 5000

 

Castrol Syntec is pretty good too. Not sure about that new Castrol Edge that they just came out with.

 

Ive been using Mobile1.

 

Whatever oil you get, go to Walmart. You will save some $$$ and they carry all the good stuff like Mobil 1 and Castrol GTX; just allot cheaper. I still go to the Mitsu dealer and use their filters though. They are supposedly rated very well, and only cost me about $5.00 a filter so I will buy 2 or 3 each trip. Just keep those receipts for warranty issues if they arise.

 

Mobil 1 5w20 with a Mobil 1 filter is what I use.
