So, almost halfway into 09 have you had any real problems with your lancer?

08 GTS lancer 2 years old 30k miles had my gas gauge stop working at 25k and they had to replace the something in the fuel tank and they get into it by taking out your back seats car smelt like gas for about 2 weeks oh and my stock dunlop tires only lasted 15k miles ;\

2009 GTS CVT 8XXX miles, nothing major, Had alloy Fuel Door Repalced due to discoloration, Outside window sashes replaced due to a pitting of the rubber/plastic. Couple no start issues but all resolved under warranty. bought it in April of 08 14 months.

09 Lancer GTS. Had it for about 10 months with around 22k miles on it. The only problem I have, which a couple of other local Lancer owners also have, is slight rusting between the rear door and tire. Its only small dots from where the paint has chipped but it still sucks. No other mechanical problems though.

Anyways, Anybody that has issuses with the damn paint chipping on hood ect should just get a clear bra. I got the front bumper and hood from ebay for only $40. it's clear so you can't even tell that it is there.

YEa you think you have problems now with paint chipping, a front bra will make you forget about paint chips with the marks and scratches it will leave... I take it you've never had a Bra on a car before or, never have taken one off a car before.. They really do more damage than good. Once you put it on, you'll never want to take it off..

Dealer called today and they're charging me 95 bucks for a diagnostic test. They told me that the Short ram intake from RRM might be the cause, But they said that wouldn't until they run test on it. That was 11:34 am today.
Here's what happened to me. I was on the freeway and was going to pass a car. i stepped on the gas at around 3,500-4,000rpm after that, the check engine light came on and when i stepped on the gas the car wouldn't response to it. So i get out of the freeway and stop at some gas station. I turn off the car and open the hood to see if anything obvious is wrong. Nothing, everything good. The car turns on, but when you try to accelerate the motor just rumbles. This happened Saturday morning. It's being three days and the dealership is getting around to my car today. I am totally sad about my car
