I was hated on for trying to build an all motor car with my last vehicle. I hate getting helpless info. This guy wants to be different. He doesn't want turbo lancer. He wants somethin you don't have. Something that will get him a article.
Look into Caliber R/T parts and custom engine shops.

Dude, why have limiting thoughts? that's why there's boost controllers...just go w/ Boost

XD but yeah only the 2.4 might be interchangelble with the caliber... Im trying to find a Throttle body and upper intake with no luck so if you see one pm me or something

Should of bought the Mustang for $24K and not have to worry about beating one. It is like you are trying to polish a turd. You can only get so much out of the Lancer and bolt on's.

Yeah but everyone and their grandma has a mustang. Besides, I got a hell of a deal my GTS. Got it for less than half the price of a mustang.

I have had 3 Lancers, and have lost my a$$ on all of them when it came time to trade them in on something new. That is why they are so cheap initially. The re-sale value is one of the worst in the market. Most other companies are meeting Mitsu great warranty, so that is not even a bonus. Just being the devil's advocate. I like Mitsu, but they are something you need to keep for many many years to get the value out of them. If you are someone that likes to trade in every 3-4 years, plan on getting squat on your Mitsu. That is why Honda and Toyota are the pinnacle in the auto industry!

Having projects or goals is great but you also have to be realistic and understand what you're getting into. As far as money is concerned, I cannot see how this could be rationalized. The Mustang is a 13.8 second car stock while, according to the same publication, the Lancer is a 16.5 second car. You need to cut 2.7 seconds just to run the same time. Currently there are not a lot of options as far as mods are concerned meaning you'll be a trailblazer for much of the way. Being a trailblazer may make you popular on the internet but it quickly drains your wallet.

Bro, what is it with the level of insanity in this sub forum?
