Do not get the pulley! Read the threads about the pulley. I had one. It has some issues, and not worth a dime. No power gains, and my car did not accelerate any faster then stock. I would actually go for a K&N SRI. I had a RRM, it was great for about a year, and then the cone began to break apart. You can look that up as well; another issue that is common. You can buy new filter cones for $45, but to only last 1 year?! I actually liked the K&N drop in for the money, you get similar performance and same sound effect! Then you will have money to get something worth while. Like tinting the windows. Good Luck!!

dont go with FUJITA did you not read the numerous problems people have had with that intake. id try to find someone selling a used RRM or K&N. Fujita may have a V3 of their intake out now that may work but their first two tries were horrible, altho you can f ix it yourself, to me its just not worth it.

I had the stock pulley on my 08 and no problems, but others are supposedly having issues. I tinted my Lancer, and it made the look a whole lot hotter then simply adding a pulley that did little to nothing. Just FYI

thanx i heard about ppl on here having problems with the fujita but i always fix or customize my own parts if something dont work like its suppose to or i dont like how it works. i have a welder and a little bro that knows how to weld so problems with fitment wont be a problem. im just lazy and didnt want to make a mas sensor bung for the intake.lol.

I disagree with the whole fujita bashing. My SRI is very solid and has given me good performance. And as for the MAF holder its the same as on the RRM. The two are virtually identical except for the heat shield.

well see you disagree because you joined here sep 2009, where as i have been here since may of 07 when i got one of the first 2008 lancers in early april.
a few months later fujita released their SRI and people were throwing CELS....fujita came out with V2 and people were still t hrowing cells...supposedly a v3 was supposed to come out/did come out and that may be what u have and it may be working just fine but the problem is it took them 2 years to get a damn sri correct, where it took RRM a couple of months and they never had any problems.
if you like your intake thats good, you may disagree because you might have V3 and its working finally and thats awesome but for people who have seen the nightmare of the fujita intake on the 08+ lancers they dont care if it works now or not its just garbage to us. i know some people fixed theirs to work and thats great, the intake is a good deal at about $150 avg price but some people like quality parts, i for one was not going to spend $200 dollars and have to make my own fix.

You gotta realize you are in a military town and a lot of soldiers are young and naive. They will pay anything to get what they want done. Go up to Raleigh to a place called Henry's Mufflers on Capital Blvd. They might charge you $100. They have done all my exhaust work on every vehicle I have ever had, and they will fix anything for the life of your vehicle. Great customer service at a great price. Only take 1/2 tank of gas to get there and back. There ya go! Gotta get out of Fayettnam to keep from paying out the a$$!
