Intake is making a different sound?
so i have an injen short ram on my 2006 OZ. it used to make a low moan with a little bit of an air sucking sound when you rev'd it. it sounded amazing and i loved it. now today while i was cleaning my engine bay, i turned my car on, rev'd it a bit, and it sounded different. it's not as loud, not as deep, and doesnt have the small sucking sound. the only thing i did to the intake while cleaning was disconnected the plug-in from the MAFS. i checked all the pipes and points of connection and their is no leaks or anything. the clip is plugged back in and everything is normal except the sound. does anyone know why the sound would change? i have had the intake for about a year now but i dont drive it very much so the filter is clean as a whistle.
any help would be appreciated
thanks!

I think sometimes it takes the short ram intake a while to settle in and that might be the actual normal sound of the filter. I know when I first put mine on it was loud, then after a few weeks it settled to a lower deep note. So maybe give it a while since you just cleaned it.
Just make sure everything is tight and double check the connections again.
