What would you do with 10k?
Im curious guys, What would you do with 10k $$ to your car? ( ES&OZ 2003-2006 )
Mainly showroom?
alot of power?
Drag?
Lapping?
Highway killer?
I would make all of them, nothing too big for exterior, New paint and lips kit.
Would mainly invest it in performance for drag, lapping and highway killer.

Well If I HAD to spend it on the Lancer lol.

First off LSD
Pistons and rods
DOHC Swap With a nice port job then re-port the intake to match
Stage 2 cams
Big Brake kit W/ 4 wheel disc
Full Tien Coilovers
Use the same turbo kit I have now and push its limits until I start breaking stuff lol.
Or maybe different manifold and turbo
Now if I didnt have to spend it on the Lancer and 10k was my budget.
MK3 supra shell
1jz-gte swap with upgraded turbo and tons of boooooooooost.

Well I've already spent $10K On my car (Over the course of 5 years) so yeah. Maybe go on a Cruise or have a vacation up in Japan. Maybe pick up an AE86 and throw in some cash into it lol.
But if I were take the route I took (In no specific order of purchase)...
~$900-$1000 on Coilovers (Adjustable of course)
~$500 on suspension parts (Sway bars, Strut bars, Tie Bars, etc)
~$500 on brake upgrades (Rotors, pads, brake line, etc)
~$2000 for DOHC head w/ all the belts & gaskets (Rocker cover gaskets, head gasket, etc)
~$1000 on new tires and wheels
Thats $5k so far. At this point, you can use the other $5k and go turbo, or you can go my route and stay N/A.
~$1200-$1500 on bolt on parts (Intake, Throttle body, intake manifold, etc)
~$1500 on Engine internals (Pistons, rods, engine mounts, bearings, etc)
~$2000 to play with, interior/exterior/whatever floats your boat =)

Let me tell you... $10k goes fast. I don't have a Lancer, I have an Evo, but my motor build (stock turbo, no head porting) cost me almost $9k alone.
I've got maybe $15k into my car with pretty simple stuff... no exterior or interior mods even. I mean... I have $2,500 coilovers and I don't even consider those expensive (the good stuff will run you $5-6k)

i would buy me an 03 lancer oz rally and redo my project sleeper over again...i regret parting it out and and trading it in...fortunately i would save alot on labor since i know the car so well and took it apart and back together so many times....i miss my DSM...parts are cheaper too now...
