Stock 2003 Lancer ES

Just going to be doing minor things to it as it has 95k miles on it. Although it was one family owned very clean car. I am deciding between a CAI or SRI. I live in Upstate New York where rain and snow is heavy, so CAI is almost out of the question for me, but I am worried about the heat or a SRI. Keep in mind I know nothing about cars and if I can find a SRI with a heat shield I will put that on my car. I am also looking into putting a new muffler or a whole new exhaust system on my car. I do not want my car to sound like a ricer, I want it to sound deep and clean and well performed. I have stock rims, window tint at 25 and I will most likely be adding a stereo system to the car in a few months time. Thanks in advance.

for exhaust i'd recommend catback exhaust by magnaflow...you'll get a deep sound - have it on my OZ and it sounds great.

i'd probably go with the SRI for oz, injen or AEM

Engine swap a 4G64. Adding to a 4G94 gives almost nothing. Save your money imo

So besides tint and a system don't do anything to it? I don't want to rice it out so a body kit and rims are out of the question. I like cars stock looking almost.

Green bandit knows what he's talking about. Turbo will give you the best power but if you want to stick with N/A then there's not a lot you can do. Little weight pullys, fly wheel, headers, exhaust, intake but you won't get to much more power. For exhaust I have a greddy EVO 2 and I think it sounds better but it all is up to you on how much you want to spend. Also look into getting a tune that will refine and help everything after your done
