the one in yellow is the 6A12 2.0 mivec from the fto. good luck. the non-mivec 6A12 DOHC i believe is in the older galants.
EDIT: don't think the 6A12 is in the eclipse. the eclipse should either have the 2.4 4G64 or the 3.0 6G72. sorry bout that. the overseas galant have the 6A12's and some older US models.

There is a motor as a 6g72 MIVEC. I have seen it on the net. It has white intake mani and its runner w/ a red MIVEC marking. I think it came froma PAjero Evo or something.

i think the main thing holding back engine swaps (shops and rich people aside) paying 2-3k for the engine, than say 1-2k to get it put in...is as much as a turbo(much more if u do a lightweight custom turbo) and after its all said and done...net u an extra 20-30hp...but add more weight, defeating the extra HP, ur weight ratio would be off. and than all ur aftermarket parts have to come from austrailia...
i think thats the main reason otherwise u'd have much more 6a12's in USDM lancers....if the 6a12 was in the US to begin with and had an aftermarket.
theres my theory..but if u have lots of money or are a shop im sure its much more feasable.

There is one guy on the Mirage board who did the 2.4L swap from the 99+ Eclipses.... and of course that puts you into the 4G6x family.... the manifolds of the DSM guys bolt right up, not to mention throw an Evo head on that and that is a niec 2.4L DOHC turbo beast.
Just some food for thought.
