Smile What Engine upgrades can I get for an automatic? Besides a Turbo

So I decided that I am not going to be getting a turbo anytime soon if at all. My question is what mods can I get to increase my HP and overall performance for a lancer automatic? I already have an injen short ram intake and greddy catback installed. I just want to know what kind of options are out there since I am new to this? Thanks in advance.

how much are you willing to spend?? i would order all internals
and drivetrain parts. start with rods and pistons. then maybe
get RPW camshaft and cam gear, retainers and springs. and spray
hehe. that was the path i was going to do. RRM ported/polished
intake manifold TB intake spark plugs and wires

if you want to spend money without going sc or tc you dont need internals such as rods and pistons... just get the bored throttle body, bored intake manifold, magnecore wires, ground wires (DIY or already made), RPW stage 1 or 1.5 non-turbo cam and gear (for easier adjustments), maybe level10 torque converter rebuild (shaves quarters of seconds off times), smaller or just lighter battery (altima or whatnot), RRM piggyback ECU (if you want to spend too damn much on premium gas now a days!!)... other than that I think you are getting into the highend of making an NA car... which entails balancing the entire engine, port/polishing the block (if possible), higher compression pistons.. etc

Oh also if you dont mind changing out your header and 2nd cat for emissions time get one of the various headers out there and possible a testpipe or real high-flow cat for the 2nd one

I would say, just from my personal experience, get an intake and then an exhaust and then save up for a turbo. I was not goign to go turbo myself and then I realized that i wasted 1,000$ and if i would of just saved up 1,000$ instaed i could be turbo right now and running a 0-60 in 6.5 instead of my 8.7 roughly which is what it is at right now.
