wouldnt magnacore wires make just 2 engine cylinders fire better instead of all 4??? wouldnt you have to change the coil pack to get more spark in the other 2 cylinders??? just wonderin...any info would be greatly appreciated

 

You can't really improve on the twin direct ignition system on cylinders 2 and 4 since they're fired directly from the coil. The reason why the Magnecor kit only replaces two wires that feed to the 1 and 3 cylinder is simply because those would be the weak parts of the ignition system that can be swapped with ease. Designing, developing, and manufacturing entirely new coils would be expensive.

 

That is call waste spark energy , but here in P.R. we change them for Eclipse 2.4 Coil Packs (2 coils like OEM )

 

The 3g coil pack is exactly the same as the 1.8L and the Lancer's motor. There is no reason for mitsu to design different coil pack systems, not cost effective.

 

Don't know that but it works , also i have1.8 Magnecor wires in my ride
