Best intake out there?
Whats the best intake that I can get for a 2002 Lancer Oz Rally edition? I keep hearing things about AEM and other companies but I'm not sure what intake gives me the most bang for my buck. I'm also looking for a specific sound. I dont want it to be a really high pitched noise, but something really low, with a nice deep bass sound to it.

Here is what I have on mine...
As far as the best intake for the lancer I am not sure of, but I can tell you I have the (Injen) Cold Air Intake on my 2002 Lancer OZ Rally and it works awesome!! Gives me great sound, and around 3500 RPM a pretty good kick......so my opionon would be go with Injen.

hehe...same thing wut brian said...just replace Injen Cold Air Intake with AEM Cold Air Intake. . As soon as u figure out if u want short ram or cold air...it's pretty much up to you what brand you wanna go for under your hood. I don't know about eBay brands, but everything else is good. AEM CAI has my vote

(Injen) Cold Air
I did alot of research when I was trying to find out what I wanted (SHORT AIR, or COLD AIR) I would honestly recommend spending the extra money on the Cold Air, and and I agree AEM is a very good product, if you want to pay a little less...lol (honestly they all work about the same) Good luck hunting for one....

Depends if your a MT or AT. If you are Manual go with a CAI from Aem or Injen. Now there are off brands coming out on ebay for CAI systems that look like they have the same shape as AEM OR Injen therefore giving basically the same performance. If you are an Auto like me I would go with creating your own custom setup. I made my own(Check my info). It basically looks just like the Injen short ram check it out!
