Question magnaflow???

What do you guys think about magnaflow??? DOes it make a nice tone??? Just wondering cuz im thinking of getting a universal muffler and having a custom pipe made for it. Would this be a good idea??

Everyone needs to remember about mufflers is that the tone and sound they'll emit is based on their design (chamber/straight through/etc.), how they're baffled, what kind of material is used as a sound deadener, piping to and inside the muffler etc.

i have the rrm magnaflow muffler . . . and along with my intake and 2.25 inch custom catback, it sounds really good. it has a very deep sound. im looking to put on the test pipe in the begining of November (after inspection) and it should sound even better. as for now, i like it alot.

So which has a better sound as in deepr rumble or when revving...chambered or straight through??

I would think chambered would as it would be almost the same principle as a bandpasss sub box...or am i a lost soul

Swift, i also have intake and im getting the test pipe next week. anyways the whole point of me posting this thread was to ask if it is a good idea to get custom piping or should i just suck it up and spend the money on a cat back.
