for the oil guages, did u get electrical or mechanical? i really suggest the electrical type so you don't have an oil line running into the car. but if you still want to use mechanical (if you have it) remember to use some good braided hose to reduce the risk of fire

i found a tutorial for the a/f meter for the 02 eclipse RS. i know it isn't the same car or even the same drivetrain but the installation should be pretty much the same. maybe different colored wires or something. refer to your wiring diagram or service manual to make sure

I'd go mostly electrical as well. Think about a fuel pressure guage, if it leaked, and someone decides to light up a cigarette or sumthin'. LOL

true, but they usually don't have the fuel line running through the firewall into the car . . . . it's illegal . .

Not entirely true. Many guages run a fuel line right up to the back of the meter. This is why you will occasionally see people with meters mounted on thier hoods. You can easily run the line inside the car, but it's not a brilliant idea.

Autometer offers a fuel-bypass valve that allows you to mount the meter inside your car without risk of leak or fire. It's a good investment.

As for illegal? Here in Illinois, I've been unable to find any law or ordinance that states you can't mount them internally.

Check federal laws. It may be an across the board law to prevent car fires. Just a thought.
