yeah, CO2 would kick tail in the lancer man..... uh what do they put in fire extinguishers????? Uhh... CO2 to put out the fire? Right. So wouldnt that severly decrease the engines output?? Correct me if im wrong

Seriously, do some research. You're looking bad here.

CO2 puts a bulb inside the air intake. You hit the button, the bulb fills with CO2 (which is ultra cold). Thus, the air passing by the bulb becomes much colder. Colder air is better for the engine, so you run really well. Same effect as nitrous, but safer.

Not the exaqct same as nitrous. Nitrous separates an extrsa air molecule thus adding more 0xygen in the engine.

Cooling the air entering the engine is only mildy making a denser air charge and adding very little to increase the hp of the engine.

Those cooling kits woudld be more suited to cooling the intercooler off after of before a run to reduce the current temp of the metal on the cooler, giving the intercooler a brief increase in operating efficiency.

ask around, do a search...there are at least 2 or 3 people on this forum that have all tried to run nitrous that blew their engines....after that everyone pretty much agreed its just not something to do.

Well, I'm just going off what I've heard. Supposedly you get a large HP jump. Could be lies, but I thought I read that from people who'd used it.

Probably not a huge HP increase using the CO2 to cool an intake charge. The cost assosciated with keeping the air temp down proabaly wouldnt justify the minimal amount of HP created.

for 300 bucks you could at least do a 35 shot and get away with it.

You should at the very least run a wet kit with a fuel pump upgrade to help you from leaning out.

There are also some reliability issues with the rods and pistons that you have in the NA cars. But Hondas do it all of the time, if done right and not abused you should be ok with a small shot.

yeah with any shot of nitrous, you'll blow the lancer engine. The only lancer engines that
can handle that well are the EVO engines. =)

your best bet with a small amount of money would be CO2 injection as stated above or something similar. With that much money ,get a cold air intake or piggyback. :P

wet shot = you have seperate injectors to inject the extra fuel needed for the nitrous
dry shot = the fuel injectors you already have provide the extra fuel for the nitrous

be careful then the no2 unless you have funds laying around for a new motor.

ok, now i am conviced off of the no2 subject. Oh and if i thought the dude was talking about injecting the CO2 into the engine thats why i said that..sorry I have never heard of this CRYo2 stuff it looks really cool, and it looks like it could really do some good. i wonder if the purge valve is neccesary?

i run a 35 shot and i am fine, no its not some fast and furious made up bs, but it does give a little extra kick, just make sure you dont turn it on before the car is at full throttle, i just picked up a full throttle switch...no problems, been running it for over a year now
