JIC parts for lancer
Just wondering if anyone has upgraded their lancers with the JIC exhaust or the JIC coilovers? If so, how did you like them?

JIC prototyped the Lancer exhaust on my car. Loud (both depth of sound and volume) can't explain and performance is definitely nice. With my RPW header I absolutely tear through the mid to top end of the powerband. I have pics in my registry of the exhaust installed.
As for the coilovers, I was gonna prototype them on the Lancer also but I've since went another path. I'd suggest calling JIC since you're in Cali (they're located in Downey) to see if they still need a car to fit the suspension on.

Just look on the website for Zeal Motorsports - they're the JIC distributor here in the states. I'd ask for Jon, who's the owner, and tell him Jon (mention the exhaust I had installed) mentioned the coilovers for the Lancer.

I am planning on the JIC FULL titanium exhaust. It's just like Ghost Riders, but all the piping and hangers are titanium, as opposed to only the muffler on ghost riders.
Supposedly the titanium sounds better, and it's 30lbs lighter than stock. So you get increased hp as well as shaved weight.

I'm not sure how the titanium makes a change in the overall sound of the exhaust, however. Maybe the way the metal reverberates the exhaust noise? I'm sure it'll still be super loud without the silencer in.
Thanks for the props, archangelite.
And Mark, I'm glad to hear you finally got your catback! I know JIC can be a royal pain to get a hold of. I didn't hear back from them for months after getting my exhaust; they only called me when you started asking about your exhaust. But I agree with you, top notch products.
