Quieter Exhaust

I recently installed the Buschur Exhaust system with Magnaflow muffler on my car. Overall, I am very pleased with it. However, it does seem to make a deep tone even when I am bearly pressing the gas pedal. Is there any way that I can stop it from making that noise or even silence the entire thing a little. Thanks for any suggestions.

You could probably buy a silencer, drill 2 holes in the tip and install it... that's the only thing that would make it more silent.

Or have a muffler shop weld on an inline magnaflow resonator (it makes the exhaust quieter)

Thanks, maybe I will try one of those. I'll prob. wait a couple of weeks to see if aI get used to it. Hopefully I will get used to it and it won't seem to stand out when I'm driving.

if you put in the silencer, it will restrict the air flow, get a resonator.

are you running a test pipe or header? That might affect the noise level a little. I know, you must think I'm off my rocker for even suggestion the concept of putting stock parts back on to get the desired results.

When we go to the shop on wednesday you can talk to tony about getting a resonator. I think its around $125 for a magnaflow resonator.

I'm actually getting pretty used to the sound. I think it was just at first I kind of freaked out b/c I didn't want to hear this constant rumble when I was hardly pressing the gas. Now, I'm really happy with it and the added noise doesn't really bother me anymore. Thanks for the suggestions though.

I love the deep sound when I'm pressing the pedal, but at first I just wasn't used to it rumbling when I was barely touching the pedal. I am getting more used to it though and I love hearing it roar when I hit the gas pretty hard. And by the way, this has bee nthe hardest part to install on my car. I spent about $100 in cobalt drill bits, just trying to get the old bolt off and drilling through the stud. Good luck getting that sucker off.

$50 for a resonator must be pretty sh****. Yeah $125 might be a bit but its polished and 22" long. Remember, size does matter:P

it wooldnt be crappy. wth would you need a polished resonator, that takes pointless bling to a whole nother lever. you can get cheaper resonators off rre's website.
