gauge bulb replacement

I cant find what im looking for under the search option so i figured i'd just start a thread on it. I wondered if anyone had done a DIY on changing the bulb on the gauge cluster. I want to change mine to red and i was either gonna replace the bulb with a red one or put a clear red covering over the exsisting bulb. has anyone done this and also does anyone know the bulb # i would need to do this

UTFSN - it's been covered, in fact, I even have a thread that I started on this, and the bulb types are a sticky in the show & shine thread, very first one in there, here's a link though

and the thread i did:

the bulbs already have 'condoms' on them, to make them orange, you can probly get them at pep boys or something along that line
