I got a cel eliminator from bigjoshracing and it didn't work so I went to the threads and found the mechanical fix using spark plug anti-foulers and it's worked great for the last 6,000 miles or so. My advise do the mechanical fix (keeps o2 sensor stock)and save your stock exhaust for smog checks.

I did the mechanical O2 fix and it works great. So far no CEL. You just stick the two antifoulers on the second O2 sensor. There are a number of threads explaining the process. Its a great and effective $4.00 CEL fix.

It's a nice little guide, but I think it warrants more detail. The author should get a little more in depth and describe the differences between short ram and cai performance or explain how an LSD works (and if it's truly needed), just as some examples. What's the best header, 4-2-1 or 4-1? Will getting a test pipe result in less torque? What are the ideal size tires for the Lancer? What's the difference in performance between hard and soft suspensions? These are all basic questions I see asked all the time on these boards. It would be great if they were all condensed into one FAQ like this.
