Ralliart seats with harness?

Alright I should be getting some seats out of the ralliart and I was wondering whether I'd be better off going with a CG lock device or a harness for auto x. Can you use a harness with the stock ralliart seats?

i didn't think the ralliarts had racing seats... i thought they were like the 02-03 OZ with red instead of Blue, Green and Maroon.

ok then those are the seats just like the 02-03 oz only with red accents... so harness wouldn't work too great... EVO seats would work fine tho...

Well they have better bolstering than the standard seats, just wondering whether you can use harnesses with a headrest I guess would be the question.

Yes, the ralliart seats have better bolsters than the OZ (the OZs almost don't have them at all).

Anyway, you could use a harness for autocross. You just have to feed the shoulder belts in between the bars of the headrest. I did that with my stock seats for a few months until I got racing seats. Or some companies (like Top Spin www.racerfactory.com) have a device to hold the shoulder straps in place on normal street seats. The harness is a nice choice, ad it will help keep you from sliding around while cornering.

You should be fine. Either do what Brian said (smart) or feed them through the large hole in the Ralliart headrest (dumb).

Welcome to the club (which is now just me and you...)!

Yeah I'm a little confused as well, so I'd be better off with just a CG lock?
