side skirt questions
hey i just got my sideskirts in today.....they're the oz ones....i have an ES.....i see the holes on the bottom that line up so that you can screw it in.....but what size screws would perfectly fit....cuz i have some screws that i tried but i just dont trust it...it might fall off.....and yea im gonap ut some double sided tape on ther to but.....what size screws shouild i get?!

hmm well i just found some from my house, and screwd em in mitsu want like 2 bucks a screw. i just used some kiking around i dont remeber the size mitsu had, but i used random screws and mine are in there fine...

yea i hate dealerships....i gues il jes go to autozone today or somethin nd let em luk at the holes....cuz the screws i have.. i dont trust....cuz i tried screwin em in today and one lil nudge and theyd fall out....but that was without the tape

ok i found some screws but.... i installed them yesterday and ... they fell off overnight... i put two screws in and used double sided tape to mount it on.... what other advices can anyone give me to let it become stable and stay.. cuz i dont wana drive around and hear that i ran over my side skirt =/

k... dude... um install the skirts by attaching them too the cars existing screws by the wheels... use larger screws homie... and to make it easy use a screw and drill it through the sideskirt towards the back tire, to hold it closer to the car, then use ur tape it should hold well. and lastly post pics. i love ur car its like mine.

iono but if i use larger screws i dont think it wuld fit?!... but ill try it out tomorrow.... and ill drill that hole....would washers really help?

I'm assuming you only got the SS and no mounting hardware with it, yes?
Do this - get bigger screws. Heck, even goto your dealer or a body shop and ask them, "what kinda screws do I use to mount my SS with" ... maybe you can get some cheap. Then .. line the SS up how you need it .. drill a VERY VERY VERY SMALL hole .. VERY VERY VERY SMALL ... did I say VERY VERY VERY VERY VERY SMALL? then screw in the screw but do use a washer .. it will work best that way. You've probably drilled too big of a hole and have used too big of screws?

well what i actually did was just screwed it in without washers......to the predrilled holes on the bottom.....but yea ill get some washers and drill some holes... ill post pics wen i get it installed

man look at the pictures and i look at my car and the skirts arent flushed!.. i look at everyone else's oz's and the side skirts are perfectly fitted..... any hints?.....im planning on just drilling some holes to fit the clips in.....suggestions would be great.....and wat size holes should i drill

yea i kinda noticed that?!.....u think the side skirts are a little retarded since its not flushed.....should i leave it or fix it.....and wat type of paint should i use for the lip
