To answer some questions and PMs:
- this car resides in Vancouver, BC
- ice race was at Barnes lake, BC (annual event)
- event was organized by rallybc.com
- ran Toyo G-02 Observe Plus "studless Ice Tires"
- Evo7 wing
- mud flaps are custom made and fitted polyurothane
- cage is custom designed and made based on the WRC Evo7 roll cage
- shell is seam welded
- suspension is DMS 50mm
- Lancer is purpose-built for pro-rally
- aim to be debuted at the Oregon Trail Pro-Rally this coming April
- mods are limited due to the production rally class in Canada
- exhaust is header back mandrel bent 2.25 straight pipe
- no, I do not daily drive this car - it sits in my garage patiently waiting to be raced.
- yes, it was sh1tloads of fun to be able to slide sideways at 60mph around an ice track everyone should do it sometime in their lifetime.
Thanks for the kind comments on the Lancer. I've been slowly building this for last 18 months (between working and rallying). Now I hope to race it in full anger this year in rally events in the Pacific Northwest (US and Canada).
