New Mud Flaps from Hong Kong!
im now in hong kong for spring break and i went to like 20 car accessories stores today searching for these mud flaps. I finally arrived at a dirty and messy looking store with a "Lancer VI" in there. (i dont know what year that lancer was but it has the same type of tail light as the evo VI). It was a white car with red mud flaps and some really nice looking white rims. And so i walked in and asked if they had any mud flaps, expecting a "no, sorry" like all the other stores. However, i was really lucky that they did have a couple sets of mud flaps in blue, red and black. They all had a metal piece at the bottom that said "Rallilllllllart". It costed me $200 HKD which is equivalent to $25 USD. Heres a pic

Yeah they are fake. I got them on my car right now. You can get them off of ebay for 25 shipped if you look hard enough. They worked to keep the salt off the car for the winter but the rivits aren't stainless steal so they rust.

I did mine by using the sideskirt and rear bumber holes. A suggestion though: Take a peice of cardboard make a template out of it. Mark the excat location of the holes on the cardboard, measure the distance between the holes to make sure they are correct. Then drill out the holes on the cardboard. Make sure they line up with the skid skirt holes. Then use the cardboard as a guide to drill the actual mudflaps. You're going to have to go to hardware store to get new bolts for the front ones, also gets some washers to fit the bolts. Just use the two side skirt holes in teh front. That's all you really need.
Also the back ones should sit lower then the fronts. Make sure you masure the distance off the ground to make the mudflaps even with the fronts, I didn't do this and if you look closely they look weird. I forgot that the *** of the car sits higher then the front. (they scratch speed bumps and if you take turns hard they will rub the ground, but hey it's only 25 bucks right?)
And again, these are knock offs not real Ralliart. The real Ralliart ones cost 300 bucks and look, and feel much better. Plus as I said before in a privious post, the rivits rust. It wouldn't be a bad idea to paint the metal Ralliart with some clear metal paint to prevent rusting.
