I'd check your wires, I have used SS on all my cars, ranging from a 70's corvette to 2000 focus. and those are some totally different electrical systems. only time my SS burnt out was after I hit a deer in my focus, didnt break anything, but one of my bulbs shorted.

 

I've had two pairs of silverstars burn out on me. All of the bulbs lasted only a little bit longer than a year. I gave up and just went with their cool blues. I will never buy silverstar again.

 

$50?! you could of bought 3 pairs for that price at cardomain

 

I dunno.. maybe they were less. I think I might have bought them for like 20 or 25.. it was a while ago. =/

my catz are nicer! lol.... i've been saying that in a lotta bulb dicussion threads lately. I think Catz bulbs are kinda rare but they are bright as heck and a bit whiter than silverstar.
