Cracked windshield
I was driving back from base one day after a month of being gone, and all of a sudden a rock hits my windshield now theres this Foot long+ Spider web crak in it, and it sucks trying to get it replaced I find out my windshield alone costs 400 bucks and thats not from the Dealership so yea @.@

What about your insurance dude, I got mine cracked up when I lived in MI! No fault crap of course, but my insurance paid all but $25. New windshield for $25 not bad. Did you check with your insurance people?

yuppers i have a 500 deductible so they expect ME to pay all of it, but Im changing it to 250.......anything else would kill me.....I hated paying over 200 a month but yea....the comanies were always like "yea the price is WAY under the deductible" oh yea the price they were meanin was 491.....how is 9 bucks WAY under 500 deductible?

Thats who wanted 491, I found a better place that will do it for 160 bucks 150 if the window isnt molded to it or something anyone know anythign about that so I can tell them tomorrow when I go there again?

Safelite did mine up here in SC. But we have something that little, or no other state has... Any windshield needing to be replaced, like in your case for a rock star/crack, the insurance companys must fix at no cost to the consumer. Just don't know if the car must have full coverage or not. But the same thing happened to me about 6-9 months back. Free windshield...exactly like factory (with the little tinting dots at the top for the rear-view). Good luck on your search.
