Not trying to promote amazon or nothing, but I've recently been looking for an air filter for my dad's outlander (uses the same one as the lancer) and I found the best deal around on the K&N reusable air filter at amazon for $44.xx shipped, while all the other places wanted $60+.

I also checked just for kicks, and they also have the K&N oil filters for the lancer ($7), and also the K&N Typhoon SRI for $130 shipped. Those are pretty good prices for brand new items IMO. You can look on amazon for lots of K&N products, just put the part number in the search, remove the dash. For example, the lancer air filter's part number at K&N is 33-2105, so I searched on amazon for 332105.
Here are the part numbers for the oil filters and the SRI:
oil filter - HP1010
Typhoon SRI (blue) - 696549TB
Typhoon SRI (polished) - 696540TP

They also have the SRI's for the evo's, and other stuff, just look for it

 

damn, wish i knew about this earlier, i bought my typhoon SRI for $178 somewhere. Good info though.

 

 

u can get a typhoon from ebay for $160ish. free shipping. i promise. cause i'm gonna get mine from there, when i decide it's time to.

 

well, the deal is over now as far as I can tell. Either way, $129 (shipped) for a brand new K&N Typhoon is an awesome deal, beats any ebay price, and you get it from amazon, no worries about it not getting there or whatever.
