Oh NO! Not Another Ebay Intake!
So I was doing a little browsing on good old Ebay, and I came across this OBX carbon fiber intake, that says it fits the Lancer. Because I'm not to ashamed to admit it, I bid on it. Before you laugh or jump down my throat, consider this:
1. A "name brand" filter, breather and MAS adapter alone for 25 bucks isn't bad.
2. If it doesn't fit exactly, all I'll need is maybe a rubber adaptor here and an elbow there.
3. If it REALLY doesn't fit, my girlfriend drives a 97 Mirage.
So here it is. I'm almost certain it will require some thinking to install, but worst case senario, they accept returns if it doesn't fit.
On another note, many of you have heard about AEM's "new" V2 intakes right? Well OBX has been making them for quite some time now. Not really that inventive if someone else invented it.

Supposedly OBX makes damn near everything for the Lancer, including a CAI for only like 170. Problem is finding the parts. I've looked everywhere online, and have only found a couple sites that sell their stuff, and they don't look very reliable, if you know what I mean. As far as OBX products go, I've only heard good things really.

I already found a place online that sells them, I was just wondering if I could pic them up at Pep Boys or Home Depot or something like that. When buying cheap parts online the shipping doubles the price, so its cheaper to buy local.

Its cool, there are plenty others to bid on.
To repeat myself: Does anyone know where to buy metal piping and elbows for custom intakes and rubber connectors?

You can get metal piping for ventilation. Really easy to fit, it's elbows you can get in any direction (like 4 parts together than can make everything from 0 degrees to 90 degrees).. they come in 3" or 4" and once painted, looks not too cheap
