Here's my gauge pod I just got installed... its a boost gauge for my turbo, but I guess you could put whatever gauge you wanted in it.


^--lol, looks kinda crooked from the angle I had to take the picture at because of the reflection from the flash, but its perfectly straight in the car.

i never understand - why are there two of each numbers in a boost gauge? i'm such a newbie to that sorta stuff.

above 0 = positive pressure --> BOOST
below 0 = negative pressure--> VACUUM (NA)

The vacuum isn't only for N/A guys.. at idle, you get vacuum whether you have a turbo or not.

Totally off topic but we are gunna continue progress on my car today! cant wait to feel the differance with the Light weight crank and watch my Gauges at night ( But not crash , haha ) Shes been sitting on jack stands in the middle of no where for 3 days! MmMMmmmMmmm Wish me luck on the wiring peeps. And thanks for the help guys!

By the way i know how to use the search its just it gives you a Sh*t load of things to choose from, and after the first 4 pages i got tired of reading so thank you to the peeps who did it for me :-D VROOM VRROM i post pics later!

wiretap did an awesome job listing up places to get pods, thanks alot man. Can someone offer up there suggestions for where to get good gauges at a decent price. And how much does quality matter in gauges. Will a no name work as well as an autometer gauge ? Thanks guys.

exactly...at idle your car is naturally aspirated

Quality of gauges is all up to you. No name brands might crap out and not have replacable components. I've even heard of autometer gauges crapping out and being unfixable quite often. I just went with the Defi D-series gauge. Defi makes awesome gauges, but they can get pricey. If you can find the D-series, it will save you money and you can get some good deals. I got my boost gauge for under 100 bux. If you look in the vendor classifieds, they usually have gauge sales with some of the best prices on the web.
