I was driving home from San Francisco and saw a few modified cars going fast down Broadway Street including a highly modified 3000GT, RX-7, and some kind of exotic car. Their engine sound really mean. On the bridge a few more drove very fast behind me and zipped by. A few minutes later I saw a few cars with graphics and a Gumball 3000 sticker. I then realize what was going on. The rally began yesterday night at 9pm in San Francisco and end in Miami on 4/22. They had a tour around the city with Mayor Willie Brown and prep their cars at the Fairmont hotel yesterday. I missed all the cars!!!!!!!! Did anyone attend the event? Just curious.

 

yea it did start yesterday. I actually just bought "michief 3000". that's the video of last years gumball rally. sick stuff, very entertaining video.

 

ahh dude that sweet. i can't wait for the footage to come out. i've always liked watching these types of runs

 

dang, just read the news at www.kron4.com There were a few that were speeding 100+ on the bridge and at certain locations. They got booted of the rally.
