This maybe a stupid question
Ok so I was at a car meet a few days ago and talking to some guy about intercoolers. He has a ralliart and he was going to use a fmic as a air intake and I was pretty shocked. I wasn't sure if I should call this guy a retard or just say "thats kind of a good idea?". So my question is that really some what of a good idea or what and is that really possible?

interfoolers are awesome
it wouldn't work if he had the other endtank plugged, i guess he could put a filter on the other endtank or just get an "interfooler"
an intercooler doesn't draw air into it (if it did, you'd have a huge boost leak and your car's MAF would hate you). air passes over the fins to remove thermal energy
