Question What will get me more power??

My question to you guys is this what is better value for money, do I go ahead and get the RMR muffler and keep everything under warranty or do I look about getting a completly new exhaust from somewhere else. And if so what might you suggest?

Which will give more more HP but still be the best value for money??

In all honesty...if you want performance, you will sacrifice your warranty. I'd hold off on the exhaust...keep the engine torquey for right now until a nice header set comes out. Do you want to stay NA'd or go forced induction?

Would you be hinting that your getting little performance out of RMR products.. And would that be sacrificing for another factor in their parts...?

Well...I don't think the RMR intake is that bad, but seeing as the muffler section is just that, a muffler, it'd be a lot more beneficial to get a new full on cat back. Don't get smart with me boy!!! <---directed at importlancer.

Lol. Ok I see how it is. I try an get a straight answer an all I get is you flapping your lips about how worthless my questions are. I'll remember that. On the otherhand yeah I agree cat is the way to go only if I had the money.. *dreams away*... Any idea if Weapon R will be releasing a cat for our car...?

Does Weapon R produce cats? Or you mean cat-backs? If the first, I don't think they do. If the second, why not find out?

I threw your mom off track last night. Oh dear, back on topic. Just do some research to find parts. Check out the Parts Index thread in general and browse around the US Lancer tech forums.

"These Mufflers are made of a fully stainless steel construction, and have a low resonant sound to them. Weld on design allow you to customize your exhaust system.
Avg HP increase: 5-8HP."
- Weapon R

Is this a good thing or bad...? I know stainless steel would be good.. 5-8 h.p out of a muffler is ok... But would welding your muffler on be a hastle or.... Give me some feedback...

OK...my thoughts are simple...I'm not gonna touch the exhaust until I get enough money to either A) put on a (as of yet non-existant) pre-fab'd cat back setup or B)get some pipe custom bent with probably an Apex'i Dunk muffler. So, in my opinion, replacing just the muffler is a waste of time/money.
