sometimes it isn't even about the car but about the driver and the drivers credit these days. Also, it all depends on the insurance and state as well....

^^^Exactly. I asked Nationwide about how much insurance would go up on a '05 Subie Legacy GT (turbo); told that it'd actually go down $50 a month. Huh... Said it was the fact of moving up from a economy/ compact to a mid-size family car. Cool !

yeh i know. its rediculous. I got no accidents, no tickets. I live in SW Florida. i have no idea why it is so much, but all insurance companies quoted me $250 - $300. My current inusurance runs out in a couple of months, so hopefully i will be able to find someone cheaper
