If You had a choice to get a Hyundai tiburon, a Chevy Cavalier Z24 or a OZ lancerWhat would you buy? I live in the US and EVO's dont come out for another yeatr and plus i wont have enough $ for one so out of those 3 cars which would be the best buy?

 

I don't know too much about the Cavalier. Sorry...

I do know that the OZ will probably beat out the Tiburon in the handling dept., but the Tiburon will beat out the OZ in the overall power dept.

If it were me....I'd probably take the Tiburon.

there's a preview of the new hyndai tiburon in the Car and Driver March issue, and it says the 0-60mph time is approx. 8.2-105sec depending on the engine. That's pretty much like the Oz which does 0-60 in a little over 8 sec if i'm not mistaken. So I would go with the Oz, which is probably a little cheaper and looks a lot better. Take the money you saved and put it in the car - maybe a turbo and an exhaust. But I don't know about the Chevy - go with the diamond

 

also depends on which year yer talkin about.... if yer talking about this year's Tiburon I'd have to agree with Sk8, but if yer lookin at 2003 model.....The Tiburon is lookin pretty good

Not to mention yer gonna wanna look at the aftermarket.....the aftermarket on the Tiburon is ever-growing....it's already pretty large....at least in comparison to the Lancers' anyway.

Id take the Cavelier. I dont care for the lancer, nor the tiburon and plus the z isn't that bad of a performer. I think it edges out the tiburon.

 

If you're gonna buy a Hyundai why don't you pick me up a Kia Sephia while your out.

 

And why don't you pick up an extra thumb to shove up yer a$$....God knows yer gonna need more than 2....

I friggin hate it when people are biased negatively towards a certain brand of cars. Have you driven a Tiburon??? Do you know how they drive??

It's a car....it's got 181 hp....it's reliable....

haha, but really, a used 01 2.5RS go around 15K (All wheel drive...massive torque...killer design....loaded...mmmm), and I've seen 99 ones go for like 10K. I wouldn't buy a Lancer OZ rally edition because frankly... it dont look too good. As far as tiburons are concerned they look ugly right now with their droopy backs...but the brand new ones look extremely nice. I don't know..what's your price range?

i would get the lancer oz because i beat the carp out of both car's.the cavalier and Tiburon and there is a big aftermarket for the lancer oz comeing out .there are turbo kits headers exhast intakes shortshifter springs strut bars supercharger,throttle bodies for it .ok

 

well i already have an slO.Z........so im happy with it....
