Every little bit, you know? Ported IM adds 3 hp, but we still do it. Same reason you'd do a mod that adds 0.3 seconds.

We can't afford Evos, but that doesn't mean we should all drive around in bone-stock beaters.

Going back to the lancer running lean on NOS. If you have to run the car rich to run a 35HP shot of NOS you are only getting 15-20 horses AND whenever your not using NOS then you will have lost power. Is this correct or does it not work this way?

Not every one here has a 17 second car some of us actually have modded there engine to where nitrious would actually help with what they want to do! i personally know a couple of lancers that would blow an evo out the water

Okay, one thing bugs me; NOS is a Brand Name . I hate this using it as a slang term for Nitrous. Small thing but it bugs me. Nitrous is Nitrous, NOS is a freaking company that sells nitrous components/systems.

Also, nothin' for nothin', I really wouldn't run nitrous on the 94. I've heard really bad things can happen. Unless, that is, you rebuild your motor to be nitrous fed (pistons, rods, etc).

^Yeah it ticks me off a little as well, but I guess it's the same as calling a tissue Kleenex or a ballpoint pen a Bic or cola Coke, etc..

Man, I can't agree with that last part. Most people don't know ****. Everytime I hear somebody say they wanna' put nos on their car, I want to punch them in their damn throat. Sorry, rant over.

Yeah I always find that funny. Normally the future plans go "rims, body kit, intake, muffler, NOS, then I can roll with anyone".

Jesus Christ I hate this attitude. It's about working on your car. Making it how you like it. The sport compact scene started out because people wanted to do something different. It feels real good to make a car that nobody thinks is fast just a bit quicker and make it handle like a dream. I've seen some real slick OZ's, that are pretty darn quick too. Make it the way you like it, and screw everybody else. That's what workin' on cars and bikes is all about.
