Help on Evo/Lancer Interior swap
Hey everyone, just got a couple of questions on some parts. I want to swap door panels from an evo, are these direct swap or is there something that needs to be done? If I were to change the gauge cluster from an Evo to mine, would my mileage show or is the one from the original cluster show? Thanks again, I tried to search but I kept getting an error message. I appreciate everyones help.

^ That is somewhat expense I've read. But yeah, the cluster maintains the mileage. It'll work fine. As far as the door panels, like "look" like they'd be a direct fit. But again, they are two different cars and the molding behind the doors could be different of need modification. Anyone with a Evo to Lancer door panel swap? Lol, door panel swap...

You would have to get the cluster and bring it to a dealer to program in your car mileage to the new cluster.
Dont know how much it cost. Couldent imagine more then like an "hour" flat rate, but its satan, so who knows.
No idea about the door panels.

BTW, if you go to swap the cluster, make sure you disconnect the battery or your SRS light will be on when you put the new one in or connect the old one back

The cluster is a computer part. It stores the mileage that IT has seen. No matter what car it's in.
There are places that can tap into the little computer and change the number. Hence, you can say that you have XX,XXX miles and they can set it for you.
