I have a muffler and I want to go get piping done right now, I can't find a ride and would need to sit there and wait for them to finish my car. Will this take several hours, will they need to bend pipes and stuff like that?

 

Depends on what you're paying for. If you're paying them to mandrel bend pipes and stuff, then yes. If you're paying them to piece together piping from parts on hand (most shops have a collection of straight tubing and various pre-made bends), then not so long.

But here's the real key - ASK THE SHOP. Maybe there's 12 cars ahead of you, maybe they have nothing else to do that day. We cannot tell you how long it'll take to work on your car.
