and anyone expects fiberglass to be strong??? of course its gonna crack if you hit ANYTHING. thats one of the risks you take trying to look good or save weight.

damn .. sorry it happened ... my apex kit was made from that material ... complete crap.. so many spider cracks and it got demolished when an old 92 accord hit me. no scratch to the other car.

i bought a kit from accolade as well and i guess i had high expectations. when my kit came, i wasn't impressed at all. but after spending a bit more to get it fixed up and looking good, i was very happy with how it turned out. we'll just see how long that'll last. but i'll most likely never buy a fiberglass kit again.

A friend of mine has a fiberglass kit on his '02 OZ and had bad problems with spider cracks as well. He has since taken the kit off, applied another 4 layers of coarse hair glass, and 2 rattle cans of truck bed liner to the inside. Will it hold up better? Have to wait and see I guess.
