One additional thing though... right beside where the grille sits below the hood, we have thin "additions" that are part of the hood. But this CF hood doesn't have any... Will this only be able to be used with the Evo VII conversion kit?

Plus! This one has the indention for what looks like to me, to be the stock grille! Very odd and I'm baffled!

Thats NOT a lancer hood. I know my headlights are not shaped to fit that hood. Maybe its a 06' hood?

yeh. that must be an 06 hood or so. The headlights look to verticle to be 02-03. The grill is different. It could be a VII conversion but it has some funny lip on the front. at that angle you would see the grill piece.
