you would be better off selling some of the mods and putting stock stuff back on and then selling it stock.

well, after spending another 500 to get it in mint selling condition -- my car got broken into last nite, everything was stolen from it -- subs, amps, speakers, interior was slashed to bits, tail lights were taken out , they stole my university text books my laptop, -- my deck --

I'm waitin on the insurance to tell me what they going to do , but i think they might just write it off, sooo ****in sad -- my lancer is gone i didn't even get to say bye

dude you're gonna be lucky if u even get $7k honestly. you know that u get the least value for your car when u trade it in right?. its in your best interest to sell it to a private owner. you will FOR SURE pocket more cash if u part out all the stuff you got and bring back your car to stock and then trade it in or sell it to someone cus majority of the people looking for a car are not into mods and they won't care how much money u put in it. they just want "a car" for cheap. and u probably won't be able to sell the car to a person who's into mods cus people like that (aka people like us) like doing the mods ourselves.

Sometimes you can get away with selling a Honda for more then its worth because of mods but rule of thumb the mods usually bring down the selling price.

i just got that dreaded call -- "your car is deemed a total loss" I wonder what kind of ACV my car is to the insurance company lol what a waste...

I was looking forward to taking pictures of it and everything !

Well, I guess my last post will be the amount of money I got for it, and I might go down to the shop and take a quick picture of the damage. Thanksss.

I will be selling an oil pressure sensor switch and some new wagner thermoquiet brake pad set for the front if anyone wants dibs on those things. I didn't end up getting around to putting them on. I also have an extra pair of TYC tail lights, the harnessees are messed up a bit, but they are good lights!

I got 8000 + taxes = 9100 - 300 deductable = $8800.

I asked for 3000 for my stereo, but my coverage only allowed 1500.

I have a set of my rims which I will sell for 500 so all in all, for my car I ended up with $10800.

Good NIGHT!
