Difference in Physical Appearence between Evo V, VI and VII
ok, I'm not a Lancer expert here but alotta u here seem like it so whats the difference in physical appearence between the Evolution V, VI and VII. I kinda figured it out but sometimes, its just kinda confusing telling which is which.
the Evo V hood has one big hole in the center of its hood. The spoiler cannot be adjusted.
the Evo VI hood has two smaller holes (then the V) also in the center. The spoiler is adjustable and is like stacked up kinda with a light at the back.
the Evo VII has the same hood as the VI and has one non-adjustable spoiler. Back lights also look different then the V. part of the front bumper is also kinda different.
ok, so if these r right (or wrong) then tell me k? also are the front lights all the same with all three Evo's? and in rallies, how do u tell the difference between a V and VI. cuz sometimes they cover the fog lights (or the circle ones at the front at the bottom). And umm... just one last question. say I bought an Evo V, can't I change the hood (so instead of one big hole in the center, its two small holes). Like how do u know they didn't change the hood or soup-up the front so it looks different.

First of all, welcome!
About the exterior difference, EVO VII is based on an entirely new chassis, so it does not look anything similar to EVO V/VI (in some extend, they might be similar)
The most obvious differences between the E5 and E6 are the front bumper and rear spoiler.
Just to point that out, the spoiler on E5 IS adjustable (I have driven it once, but other who owns it should be able to verify)
The reason of the differences is because of change rule of the FIA for WRC.
Thanks for your input and enjoy your visit!

this is how i tell the diff b/n evo 5 and 6
for evo 5 the foglights are located in the middle of the "air sucking" part...
and evo6 the foglights are more blended w/ the contours of the car

The only exterior differences between the 5 and the 6 are the bumpers and the rear spoiler.
5 has large foglamps
6 either has none or has two smaller ones
5 has a single large spoiler
6 has the twin spoiler
